"It was only a summer internship so I cannot comment too well on how fulfilling a career may be at PennDOT. However, this job was great because you never worked overtime, the car and computer was given to you - just do your work, the other employees were nice and understanding, and you got to be out in the environment everyday. The downside is because there is no overtime, your pay is very consistent unless of course you miss a day. I didn't even get 40 hours a week, 30 minutes was taken out of each day for lunch - they kept you away from benefits the best they could."
