"It was a cocky company that thought that becuase something worked in LA and San Francisco, it would take off without any media partners to help launch it...the Columbus office closed within a year"

"Take a business 101 course as well as marketing 101...you cannot lauch a new business by going to bars and handing out stcikers and pens"

"The colleagues that you work with are usually long term , therefore you build a good relationship/friendship with them over the years."

"Be ready to be a team player , participate in volunteering for assignments, be honest and upfront with your answers. Find out about all the products they make or have made and the history of the place. The employees are well rooted in their history, as it's very small family oriented in that sense."

"The management's blind eye to balancing work life with personal life of their employees and their intruding on the personal weekend time of their employees."

"Compensate fully to those who give up their personal weekend time , as well as their weekdays home time with family for company."

"The moral in the Accounting Dept is very low due to the Manager in that dept yells and intimidates the employees."

"HR has been told by plenty of employees who have left the company about this Manager in Accounting. Nothing gets done and the problem continues."

"Ask specific questions focused on Management style and culture to ensure you match what they are really looking for. There seems to be a very young population only interested in bringing in like minded individuals."

"No long-term employment opportunities. Contract employees not given same level of respect as others despite having more experience."

"Place more emphasis on employee ability to get the job done and less on keeping office click happy. More strategic direction is needed so that people are working for a common tactical goals that when linked contribute to business success. In the Executive Compensation area more use of performance based long-term incentives like Performance Shares and less use of Stock Options"
