What do you like about working at Sears?
"I loved my co-workers at Sears. It is so rare to find the kind of mix of people whom I worked with. I found that I stayed longer than I should have because I loved my co-workers so much!"

"The people at Sears are phenomenal. The interview process usually involves several people from different disciplines, but don't let that intimidate you. Have a sense of humor and show your personality. Your experience and resume is important, but how you fit in with the culture is also a big part of the decision-making process."
What don't you like about working at Sears?
"There is no room for growth within the company unless you have put in at least five years there."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Look holistically at the people who work for you, and make sure that you support them in where they want to take their careers."

"Very little. There are some very good people there, most of whom have had there souls removed through no fault of their own."

"I would seriously avoid this place like the plaque"

"Extremely POOR management, not an iota of consistency, constantly changing commission structure (always WORSE than the plan previously) generally incompetent middle management and extremely poor, short-sighted senior management."

"Nothing, but I did manage to build their initial community and multimedia departments, an achievement I am proud of. The people who ran bn.com were miserable every step of the way and I always felt beat up by the end of a successful project."
