Deadlines do not move and clients may delay, causing working through nights and weekends.If you are interested in this position, consider staying with a company as a contractor, this way if you work long hours, you will be compensated."

"Bring your A game. We hire the best in the industry and are looking for people who can live up to our standards or at least grow quickly to meet them. Talent trumps appearance."
What don't you like about working at Roundarch?
"Some longer than usual weeks around major deadlines, 45 hour work week. Location. Compensation."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Reward people better for a job well done more, everyone here does amazing work and deserves to get more back, or at least give out a yearly bonus to the employees. Focus more on employees rather than getting the project work done, improve the company culture."

"Digital projects are driven by people that don't have any knowledge of technical processes."

"If you want a comfortable position and job security, it's a great place to work, however, you aren't going to change the culture or the world."

"Resistance to technical change is insurmountable, and it's often justified by people who have an interest in keeping things the way they've been for the last 15 years (i.e. they feel threatened by new solutions)."

"Trim project management staff, hire copywriters and adopt open source solutions over clumsy proprietary software to cut massive amounts of time off of projects."

"I really like working here for all the things I have learned throughout my years as a web developer. By working in a small company, I was able to assume many roles within a project which allowed me to broaden my skill-sets that were needed to complete any given project. I have a lot of fun and enjoy doing what I do."

"For interviewing at this company, I might suggest you put your absolute best foot forward and show them that you can do whatever it takes to get the job done on time and on point."

"Tracking back again to what I said in the previous answer, but working in a smaller company, it can also prove to be challenging when there are a lot of deadlines to meet. You become forced into a tight spot where time management plays a critical role."

"To management, I might suggest hiring more people for more individualized tasks for projects that need them."

"I got to work on cutting edge flash and web based applications."

"Long, Long, Long hours. I don't mind putting in hours I understand the business but I worked for 4 months from 7:30 - 10:00."

"Get your ideas at first and not add new ones during the middle of development phase."
