"It's great to find a profession that aligns with my obsession for experience and visual design. Having a hand in larger, more creative projects and being able to make a difference in products has been very encouraging. While the industry is hungry for engineers rather than designers, I see demand for IxD and UX also increasing."

Interaction Designer at Fishbowl

What do you like about working at Fishbowl?

"The environment is fun, open, and supportive. The company is small, so if you plan well and remain flexible, you can build a future for yourself (here or elsewhere). The structure is relatively flat, too, so there's great opportunity to be seen and heard by those with the Power; and when you speak up, you're taken seriously."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Only nice people are allowed here. (Seriously. Don't apply if you know you tend to be nasty or backhanded. You'll be let go quickly.)"

What don't you like about working at Fishbowl?

"Budget is tight, so you have to be creative about obtaining the resources you need to get things done."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Increase support for middle management; these positions seem to be the most disposable, which makes everyone here a tad nervous."
