"Something new every day with electrical, mechanical, cryogenics, vacume. and it was all state of the art"

"not really, be your self and say what you do and do what you say, we have to many people here not that are not standing up for their group."

"end of contract and the fact that they keep stringing me along without getting me back inn under a full contract"

"keep your workers informed and make sure you are informed, issues here are that management makes decisions and not every one is on the same page"

"Zero growth opportunity unless you have your nose three feet up a managers hindquarters."

"General opinion of every individual working there is that the company is out to get them."

"Rotate in a reasonably young workforce to take over for old curmudgeons"

"be confident and be sure to point out other intagable skills you may bring to the table."

"I believe the pricing model could have been setup to better, the stucture doesnt fit ."

"I would suggest a more cross fuctional work force, to better serve the cunsumer."

"The decision model, I believe that sometimes they make wrong decisions regarding the product we develop and the process involved to get the work done."

"This company is a non-profit organization with an extremely open and informal culture. The management understands the needs of the technical professionals here and works with us to make sure we move formard together towards the company's goals"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This is a place where you will be expected to learn on your own. There are few techinical professionals here and a lot of work is done by outside consultants."
What don't you like about working at Brooklyn Health Information Exchange?
"As the company is extremely small (8 people) it is hard sometimes to go forward without much techinical management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Bring in technical management for growth/planning (they are already working on it)"
