"ability to work with state legislative law making representatives, taking that legislative, deciphering it, and creating comprehensive training documentation from it."

"Contract work, based on yearly contract renewal from the state."

"Work for you staff and they'll work for you."
What do you like about working at Amgen?
"Great resources are available, both hardware and software. Request any software you need for your work. It will be on your desk in the morning."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It will all depend on who is interviewing you and for what position. Just know your stuff."
What don't you like about working at Amgen?
"Some of the managers I've worked with there are so secure in their positions from having worked there for so many years they've pulled up their drawbridge and retreated into their offices, where they sit counting their 401-K, and don't care about or have much sympathy for the people under them who are trying to move up."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Come out of your shell. Try to remember what it was like when you were moving up and worked hands-on."

"Teleworking, professional atmosphere, Advancement ops."

"Understand that in a company this large playing politics is an innate part of the atmosphere."
What don't you like about working at Aetna?
"Volatility of the health insurance arena. The cyclical nature of job reduction hiring phases."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Always be honest and frank. Understand that management is at least a two-sided situation; learn to balance the companies expectations with quality and trust based relationships with constituents."

"The work that we do is cutting edge as far as presentation and virtual interactivity. Nothing but the best is acceptable. The company drives you to push yourself professionally. You don't even notice what you have become capable of accomplishing until you see how much better the product is than the rest."

"Be open-minded and focused on your task. Do not be intimidated by what you don't know. Have the drive, and they will provide the rest."
What don't you like about working at Advanced Computer Learning?
"There is not much room for opinion. The focus is on pleasing the client more than adhering to the sound principles of Instructional Design. I believe the student should be in our best interest."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do not be afraid to lead your client. They may know what they want, but you know what they need. If you are confident in your presentation they will follow your lead."
