"RGA has interesting and challenging projects. It is similar to a startup-like environment. Creativity is welcomed and encouraged."

"Be patient. It takes a while to prove yourself at RGA and some very talented people leave because they get frustrated. So hang in there."

"Some projects might be stressful and fast-pacing projects might not be for everyone at RGA. As a contractor you have to be flexible and helpful to guide these individuals along."

"Create cross departmental exchange. Balance account services with production, drive stronger conceptual development and creativity."

"Pays the bills and provides opportunity to seek other employment."

"Going to work my way out of a job while it is still difficult job market for my real skills and ambitions."

"Scheduling for this project was rough at times. Only because we were constantly in different regions of the world."

"communication can always be better. As sometimes recording sessions started later then the actual time we agreed on."

"As an independent consultant, I don't have any suggestions for my own management, just suggestions for other companies I've worked with and how to improve their processes."

"Nothing. I liked when I got in my car and drove home."

"Dont. Stay away. They have high turnover because they cant keep an employee long term (except their family members becasue they are all directors)."
What don't you like about working at RGBSI?
"Worst company to work for. Unethical. Family owned/operated. Dictator/bully management style. Dont let employees talk to each other. The family does nothing but watch employees like hawks. Son, daughter, daughter in law know nothing about running a business and that is why they micromanage everyone else. They dont know what to do themselves in 8 hours. they bring in people from India on visa and take advantage of them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take some management classes and APPLY the practices. Stop micromanaging. Learn business, learn how to manage people. Stop bullying your employees."

"This company is very misleading, commission only compensation,your bills given to other salesmen becuase the manager feels another salesman deserve it more, very slow pay"

"Company was bought by Alcan in 2002 and now has been resold to another company. Many people lost their jobs between 2004 and 2011."

"Leverage the skills and expertise of employees to build against the company's strength and growth."

"The company has now been sold by Alcan to Constellium which there would be a concern for company stability. Otherwise, enthusiasm, a team player, and a detail-oriented individual would be excellent qualities to demonstrate in an interview."

"The company was being bought by Alcan and many people were worried about the future reorganization."

"Visa is a well established financial institution. It has a rigorous project management structure."

"You must have PMP certification if you are interviewing for a PM position."

"Contract position came to an end. As a contractor you are not empowered to effect any changes."

"There are many good process flows in place. However, management should routinely evaluate and get rid of redundant processes."
