Working at Imagine Systems in Redlands, CA: 1 Employee Reviews

Imagine Systems Employee

"Fair and balanced."

What do you like about working at Imagine Systems?

"The company was a nice place to work at first with promise made regarding benefits, etc., but none of the promises ever materialized. It ended up being a very depressing place to work with little or no benefits, and less pay."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Get an employment contract that specifically spells out the terms and conditions of employment and make sure you have the owner sign it. Otherwise, any employment promises made will not be kept and you will be disappointed."

What don't you like about working at Imagine Systems?

"See above. Plus, some staff and management were very unprofessional. Despite being an IT company selling cutting edge technology, the equipment provided to staff was antiquated. The owner was the only one that could make decisions, and in many cases, due to the length of time it took him to make decisions, opportunities to grow the business and increase sales were lost. When he did make decisions, he took all the credit, despite recommendations being made by other employees. In addition, in order to facilitate his desire to work closer to his home and children's school, he moved the business away from a priem downtown location near existing customers to a remote suburb, thus alienating and losing a significant customer base. Also, his unprofessionalism when employees left his employ to work for others, cost the company customers and good will."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Allow all employees to participate in decisions, and give credit where credit is due. Don't have an us against them mentality. All employees to achieve success and growth through participation in the company, instead of stiffling that growth through constant interference and unprofessional behavior by management and certain staff."
