"Make sure you get them to specifically define what role they hire you for in writing and hold them to it. They are known for hiring for one skill set and then switching that role once you start work"

What don't you like about working at iLink Systems?

"lack of access to the tools and resources needed to do a good job within the time allotted, long hours, no gratitude for work completed, no bonuses or recognition for going above and beyond in order to meet the project's deadlines, poor planning by Project Managers, poor communication with offshore developers, poor development practices which hinder growth and scalability and success as they try to move to the next level of company success, failure to demonstrate to the UX team that their skills are valued"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Start holding offshore accountable for their actions, set expectations that can be met within a 40 hour work week - 50+ work weeks kill creativity, passion and motivation which is imperative in a designer, Show appreciation to all departments, not just the developers, send your PMs to training so they can learn how to effectively manage projects and empower their teams, learn what it means to be a company not just a business, remember your best asset are your people and if you don't treat them with respect, then they will find a company that will"
