IKO Employee

"I don’t think IKO is a terrible company, but the area I worked in was abhorrent and poorly managed. I didn’t feel safe speaking out during my employment, but now that I have been terminated, I have nothing to lose by speaking up. I began working at IKO in June of 2021 and was terminated in November of 2022. I was excited to work for this company at first, the benefits and pay were great, and the leadership seemed solid. The wind was quickly taken from my sails as the weeks progressed. The training was non-existent; I was sent to another state to shadow and learn from another rep for two days, but I did not receive the company laptop in time for the trip and the rep did not have enough time to teach me anything. I also rode along with the district manager of my territory, and he was completely clueless. He knew nothing about the sales software we were required to use and bragged about how little he cared to learn it. I can’t count with my fingers how many times she detected a problem or came up with an idea and he passed it off as his own. Whenever there was a problem, he did not hold a conversation, but rather interrogated you. He would ask me the same questions repeatedly as if the answer would ch"

"I've worked with IKO for the past 6 months. The journey there was very fulfilling as the knowledge gained through application and the support I received from my colleagues were amazing. I would recommend anyone who is driven by safety and their goal is to implement lean production line and sustain it IKO will be a good fit for them."
