"A mismanaged organization and as a result the culture and work environment is very negative. There are no clear goals and objectives and as a result, the workforce is divided and combative and teamwork is non-existent.As a result, they have great difficulty retaining talented staff, many good employees have left the company, or even worse, remain there with negative attitudes."
"I was recruited by Igloo Coolers as VP of specialty markets. I hired on to 1400 person company and found it very difficult to get new accounts moved to the process. When I was first hired on it took over three weeks to open a new account by the time I left it took two days. I was very proud of the accomplishments I made while I was there and it was a great group of people to work with."

"Need to learn to trust the wisdom of the employees they have working for them."

"The location,and the people (minus the board) . The people make a company. They are the value that drives a business. They are the capital."

"Be mindfull that although the company has a strong brand they will not invest in the proper infrastructure. Realize that resources are minimal and it will require very creative improvisation if you are used to operating with great tools."
What don't you like about working at Igloo Products?
"The lack of resources available to workers. The unwilingness of managementto pursue the right process for the sake of savings. Don't misunderstand me, I don't mean waste. I just mean irrational fruglaity that hinders productivity."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Invest in your people. You ge rewarded with happy workers and it will reflect in a muchmore black bottom line. You cash in on that investment in lean times when you watch your employees volunteer their time to save your company."
