Idearc Media is a company that sells print and internet advertising for small and medium-sized businesses. It was formerly known as Verizon Information Services. It was home to Superpages.com and published Verizon Yellow Pages. The company offered several proprietary magazines, including Solutions at Hand and Solutions at Home. In 2007, the company expanded its products by acquiring InfoSpace Inc’s directory assets and LocalSearch.com. The acquisition transformed the company from a print-centric business to a multiplatform business that offers various products and services for clients.

Idearc Media was one of the largest directory companies that published yellow page directories for Verizon and operated one of the biggest yellow pages sites on the web. On March 31, 2009, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy but later emerged in December of the same year. In 2010, Idearch Media announced its new name, SuperMedia, and shares in the new company were issued for creditors and bondholders. Stockholders of the old Idearc Media did not receive any distribution as a part of the emergence plan. Today, SuperMedia also sells print and internet advertising, similar to the services offered by Idearc Media.
