What do you like about working at Iconixx?

"Iconixx was the first consulting firm experience for me. Working with diverse clients helped build my consulting skills. I am also a self starter so I learnt from working with my colleagues too.I also build some long lasting work relationships that have since transitioned into long terms friendships. As far as Senior Management approach, it was also a learning in what not to do for future. Although there were a few exception mentors also that taught me a lot about who I wanted to be when I grew up."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Given that this company is no longer functioning, this is a moot point."

What don't you like about working at Iconixx?

"The Senior management was a little bit like a fraternity that led to an environment where promotions were by invitation only. The mindset was not focused on accountability and delivery. It was more of a numbers approach with networking through partying. I would have liked to see an environment where employees could have been mentored to make the next level. All growth was self initiaited without the appropriate company environment to support the consultants. Employee ended up being individual focused versus company focused.Senior management was not inclined to provide the mentorship that builds employee loyalty and growth towards the common goal of a good company. We lost a lot of good employees and resources over a period of time because of the above."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would recommend that Senior management have a mentor mindset so as to allow employees to growth and develop within the company with the right guidance. Additionally a fraternity mindset tends to not set the right examples of accountability and work ethics for young consultants who look to senior management as mentors. It is also frustrating for mid management that is looking to make the next level of growth."
