"I would not presume to suggest anything. It's just too big and too complex of an organization. Perhaps the company could make it simple and fun."

"Make sure you have your buzz-words and explanations ready. Keep to the subject matter - IBM operates on a deliberately impersonal basis."

What don't you like about working at IBM?

"There is no longer any loyalty by the company to the employees. There is no longer any job security. Frequent reorganizations means that your job may very well not exist next year. There is also a great deal of bureaucracy, lots of paperwork, and many administrative obstacles to getting things done."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get back to Deming - IBM was one of the original companies from which continuous process improvement was derived, but too many middle managers have lost it and the higher ups are not very effective in re-instituting it."
