"I took responsibility for an area others shunned (Office Automation). This area turned into their #1 earner! It was thrilling work with lots of 1st's."

"IBM has changed a lot since I joined, and we actually sang the company song! My suggestion would be to exhibit lots of intelligence and integrity, which are IBM hallmarks. Remember their motto, THINK."

"Sometimes there was a tendency to be too conservative."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be willing to take more calculated risks, and get out of the comfort zone."
