"It is a very volitle industry affected by the retail sector."

"They overextended themselves in the China market. I wonder if they considered outsourcing to Mexico and what were the pro's and con's of each choice."

What do you like about working at Alta Vista Regional Hospital?

"AVRH is a beautiful new hospital with wonderful views of the Sangra de Cristo Mountains. Surrounded by Native Amercian and Spanish culture, it is located in the heart of winter sports, summer fishing and within driving distance to large metro areas. The employees are hard working and dedicated to the Hospital and healthcare."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you fit into the culture you will be accepted, or you will have a very small circle of friends."

What don't you like about working at Alta Vista Regional Hospital?

"Because of its location it is difficult to recruit new employees.The community is very leery of outsiders, therefore they tend to not take responsibility for economic woes. They have a college in the center of town, yet the high school drop out rate is very high."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be honest with employees, treat them all the same. Be creative in working in a for-profit entity."
