"in most cases the branch staff were great people to work with and @ 1/2 of the senior management were true professionals"

"there will be no job interviews as the company hfc no longer exisits in the us"

"expectations were out of line with the market place and general corporate direction was hide from branch/field staff"

"don,t lie to 6500 people regarding corporate stability"

"Must have strong phone skills, a ability to take 100 plus call a day"

What don't you like about working at HSBC?

"Upselling customers on every call. Let me explain, when a custome calls in regarding their account they are upsold. If that customer calls back in the same day they are upsold again. Recommended noting the date of last upsell to management"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Recommended noting account of last date of upsell. This procedure would have save a lot of talk time. Calls could be wraped sooner, and move on the the next call."

"I liked how your work was based on performance. In addition the base salary was large enough so you could survive an off month."

What don't you like about working at HSBC?

"I did not like how the current manager could control the leads that ultimately controlled my income. I was doing great with Jerad, but I believe my behavioral differences with Matt (based on a religious core set of values) caused him to favor other similiar people. So, ultimately Matt had the ability to force myself and others to not have sufficient sales to continue with our jobs. I feel that if Matt was not the manager, my employment and performance would be ongoing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stated in the previous comment. But take control of lead distribution away from the manager, and provide all account executives identical"
