"~40% of the people that work there were great. Unfortunately, management doesn't recognize these assets."

"Avoid the place at all cost. If you have to work there, make sure you bring in your own money as a PI, postdoc or grad student. Support staff get virtually zero support"

What don't you like about working at House Ear Institute?

"Culture promotes nepotism, self interest and self promotion. There's no accountability by the senior staff"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Change them with newer blood. There is absolutely no momentum with these guys. They are as stale as they come."
