"My recruiter forgot to tell me that as a Hospital Corpsman I might be assigned to the Marines... and I was! LOL"

"Variety and the experiences that I was taught. I worked one on one with patients in the Intensive Care, PICU and NICU departments and then specialized in medical laboratory."

"Just to decide which area you wish to specialize in and get an explaination of the challenges and experiences that you will face."
What don't you like about working at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth?
"There were very few things. The most is that once you received a good group of individuals to bond and work together with there was a transfer to new duty stations."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Managenment types varied there. Some were focused completely on their careers while others showed compassion and concern for the people they managed. They attend monthly seminars and have competencies that must be passed to remain in leadership positions."
