"Employees expended to joyfully conform to pitiful benefits and dead-end careers."

What do you like about working at Honeywell?

"Many of the plants in this company have been grossly neglected for so long that there are plenty of opportunities for projects that offer a great deal of personal development--if you can justify them."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Think long and hard. Calculate how much you will lose in benefits and then multiply it by two. It is the perfect work environment if you are the type who likes to label where on your desk your stapler belongs and how many paper clips are allowed in your drawer, because that is required of every employee."

What don't you like about working at Honeywell?

"The company does not care about its employees. Their benefits are absolutely deplorable, yet they blindly believe they have competitive benefits and try to convince you that this is the case. The company will preach safety, but the true safety culture is that process safety is a priority so long as it does not create any extra work. Management does not communicate with each other, and none of them have a clue what the other is doing. The company is more concerned with micromanaging how organized and clean your office is than whether or not the plant is making production. 'OCD clean' at absurd levels are forced down onto every employee."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get organized and start talking and planning better. Stop micromanaging the number of pens in my desk and start managing whether the plant is actually making money."
