What do you like about working at Home Depot?

"There was nothing I could think of, except watching assistant managers steal inventory on night shift."

"Don't, don't, don't."

What don't you like about working at Home Depot?

"I disliked getting hurt on the job, like a tendon being torn out of foot, hernia, and the big one - heart attack. Of course getting fired for being injured and unable to perform was also a dislike."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Do something meaningful with your life and end it."

"Unless you are truly desperate, do not work here."

What do you like about working at Home Depot?

"I like the ability to learn while working, and always be in training, as compared to most places of employment."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"When applying with this company, make an effort to shop in the store in which you wish to work to get a feel for the employees' ability to actually help customers and not just stand there collecting a paycheck."

What don't you like about working at Home Depot?

"Workers in stores often gossip about customers and one another. There is little attention to detail and structure, and a lack of communication between departments to assist one another."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management must learn to become more involved at an employee level, and not just when dealing with customers. Management must also realize the value of knowledgeable associates."
