What do you like about working at Hal Hays Construction?

"Still new here. Only a couple months in, but I love it. I don't understand a lot of the negative reviews. Like I said I have only been here for 2 mnths but I think its good. My wife has some health issues and the benefits package is good. I generally get good support and the Government teams like working with us, here at 29 palms at least. I like that the owner of the company comes out to the job quite a bit to see us."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared to work hard. It's a really good place to work for."

What don't you like about working at Hal Hays Construction?

"They weren't kidding in the interview when they said they were lean and mean. I get emails from 4 in the morning until midnight, which isn't a bad thing. it's just a lot of work, but if you enjoy your job then it's great."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep winning jobs. We have a lot of people to keep employed."
