"Be honest .... drop the selling requirements and do not base wage on sales"

"It was a good job to get LOTS of experience on multiple projects quickly as your pipeline is always crammed full of projects."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Avoid them unless you are desperate for the money. There are far better paying jobs out there in php programming. As in double and triple the salary. Heritage simply does not care about their employees enough to even trust them. They block most websites that as a programmer you would do research on, simply to control what people can see. It is a restrictive and claustrophobic environment."

What don't you like about working at Heritage Internet Technologies?

"Management is much more focused on numbers than quality. As a result the product suffers immensely when it becomes a race to see how many projects can be completed rather than taking time to make sure it's the best possible end result. They also require employees to sell a certain amount per week so many clients were sold the same thing, and paid for it, multiple times. This really disturbed me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make it about the product again, and not about increasing numbers. Cold hard efficiency does not make a company the best at something. It simply makes them fast and uncaring. Clients needs get short shrift when things are done this way as does honesty (as in many clients getting sold the same upgrades multiple times in a row)."
