"I worked for HD Supply from Feb 1983 to August 2012 and was released when 2 divisions were combined which duplicated some positions. The person that retained the position had only been with the company for 1 year. I was rehired with a a different division in April 2013 and once again had my position eliminated in April 2016."

What do you like about working at HD Supply?

"Great, smart people work there who are always trying to push to the next level. Lots of spirit."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be competitive and agressive or be satisfied in the position that you are hired into."

What don't you like about working at HD Supply?

"It's a great place to work if you have a crystal ball to tell you what to do. The management is all over the board and decisions are made based on who's in the room at that time. I had a lot of freedom but then when I was given a project/task it came with little or no information to define the expectation."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Challenge the sales process and set some definate processes to control things."
