Happy House Daycare Employee

"I worked at the daycare for a little over a year. There are 3 different locations (Royal Oak, MI; Berkley, MI; Beverly Hills, MI) and all are run differently. You might have to work at all 3 in the same shift but have to sign out from the center you are at before going to the next one so you lose out on whatever money you would have made had you stayed at the center you were already at. Their is very little communication between management & staff which caused a lot of stress since there is no way to know what you will be expected to do or if there have been changes to the policies/procedures. There is also no consistency in your job requirements, sometimes you have to do things that aren't in your job description. There is also no raise given after your first 90 days there regardless of how well your performance review is and also no benefits. I did enjoy working with the children. The owner is also not open to ideas or suggestions."
