"Hair Model Express does not pay its models.I worked for them at the San Jose Style Show in 2017. I never got paid. They claim that they reached out to me to send out a payment. But, they never reached out to me. Now, they claim that it's too late to pay me. This is bogus. I've gotten payments from many reputable agencies months after work performed. But, the key is that those agencies were reputable. Hair Model Express is not. Do not work for Hair Model Express."

"BEWARE! DO NOT WORK FOR HAIR MODEL EXPRESS! This company is awful and does not pay you for work completed. The owner is very dishonest and rude. She was curt with her responses and told me for MONTHS that "the check in the mail" and now 5 months later I still have not been paid. Does not respond to texts and her phone goes straight to voicemail. She was even contacted by the company that hired her (Oribe) to ask her why she hadn't paid me or any of the other models she had booked for the job. I have never been treated so poorly by an employer. Unless you like to work for free, do not work for Hair Model Express!"

"This company is the worst. I've worked in the industry for 8 yrs, never a problem w/hair shows. Until NOW. THEY DO NOT PAY!!! I have been emailing for months, no response, no payment, I have left VM, no reply, contacted them through PopBookings, no response. The ladies that we're booked direct hire through the client, we're paid within two weeks. I know for a fact bc my daughter worked through client. This company was my booking agency and I've yet to be paid. Left VM so many emails. If you work w/them you'll have to take them to court to get your money. Which I am currently doing due to non payment. Fun part will be when my lawyer asks for his money from them, that will be the best part of working for them. Save yourself the hassle. I'm fortunate my family is in law."

"Hang in there, it will pay off. Since you work on commission, it takes time to get the ball rolling, but you can be very successful with self motivation and drive."

"On call casting calls, and last minute bookings. Sometimes, you have to stop in the middle of something and head to work"

"Love Management! It's a women owned company. Management is insightful, understanding and respectful of ones needs."
