"This review is a honest depiction of what goes on within the organization."

What do you like about working at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center?

"I liked helping people who needed the donations."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't interview unless you need a job temporarily until your next job."

What don't you like about working at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center?

"Many individuals were very unprofessional. If you were to speak out about changes or the truth, you were demoted and/or fired. Anyone who honestly worked were let go and the ones who provided no real value to the organization/department were kept. If you were to become buddies with the supervisors, you were in no matter if you did any work. A fleecing of funds happens everyday and recipients of the blood products are having to pay the bill."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have an open mind and positive change could happen if nepotism were not present. The head of the company seems to be on the right page, but some of the other parts of management still choose to run their departments as if it were 1960."
