  • "Thanks, but No Thanks. I took time off from my job (which means that I lost income) to do everything requested of me by the staff at Gazelle Transport. I even went so far as to give "notice of my resignation" to my current employer as requested by the staff at Gazelle Transport. I have no interest in employment with a company that is dishonest by giving empty offers of employment to it's applicants. I was told the reason that my "road test" was postponed until the following week (3 weeks ago) was due to a "scheduling conflict". This was obviously a false reason. I have a family that depends on me and I refuse to work for a company that I would not be able to depend on the way that their company would expect to depend on me to keep my end of a commitment. I called Jerry Ragantesi twice to simply get an honest reason as to what was really going on. I got no reply to the voicemails that I left, so I withdrew the resignation with my current employer. I refuse to do that to my employer and my family again to (possibly/maybe) begin employment with a company that obviously has absolutely no problem with giving fictitious reasons as to what is really going on with my "Offer of Employment" and "Start Date". I'm quite sure that the staff at Gazelle Transport has other applicants that they can "toy" with by getting them to lose income from taking time off and giving "Notice of Resignation" with their current employers to meet all the requests made from the Gazelle Transport staff just to be told "Sorry, just kidding". I can only imagine as to how much revenue Gazelle Transport wastes on having applicants drug tested, "FIT" tested and administering a D.O.T. physical for no reason at all. I'm also sure that Gazelle Transport has applicants that they can "toy" with that are currently unemployed and they and their families are struggling that will get excited from an "offer of employment" just to be told the same. I am posting my recruitment experience with Gazelle T"

  • "I enjoy the work and co-workers. Just can't make any money doing it. I have a big investment and I'm expected to work for peanuts. Give me my fuel surcharge, not just a percent of it. I buy the fuel to haul your freight what gives you the right to keep the surcharge. I also hate that terminal managers are unethical in what they have been doing and no-one's checking on them. Open your eyes management."
