"My original intent for joining A&P was to move laterally into other IT positions. Unfortunately, the company went through a bankruptcy and is not in an expansion mode. Therefore, positions have not opened up. While the people at A&P are very cordial, and the work environment is acceptable, opportunities for upward mobility are nonexistent. Further, though the employees have made strides to improve the bottom line, there has not been a bonus issued in 6 years. We also just lost our CEO."

"Should get more involved with the lower level employees. Having them more involved might boost moral of the lower level employees."

"The managers were extremely hardworking and professional. Your peers truly support one another and the stores had really hardworking individuals who looked to cooperate and create a great working environment."

"The stores and in-store technology needed to be renovated. Purchasing Pathmark really affected the other banners and had a negative impact overall when the synergies did not supplement the bottom line as planned."
