"Gordon Flesch is a third-generation family company with a lot of the pros and cons that come with that kind of organization. For those that fit into the company culture, it's excellent, but for those that don't, it can be a harsh environment. It is fundamentally still an office equipment company."

What don't you like about working at Gordon Flesch?
"Sorry if I am blrutally honest and blunt so here it is. Their quotas were unatainable for most. The management style needed to be overhauled. Most new hires lasted 2-3 months. It was a turn and burn. Get new hires in to give 120% effort with little results in a small congested territory. Then they were fired. New hires were brought in to work the same territory with high efforts. This management style allowed for each territory to have a new hire that would give 120% for 2-3 months and fail. Then they would just replace that rep with a new one. Its a great way to have each territory covered by an rep that will give 120% each month of the year. I was lucky and figured it out early. Luckily I am a master at selling and made their quotas and was asked to relocate without a relocation package. Then the separation was made."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would only make suggestions if I was given the opportunity to restructure and reposition the company. I cannot share my trade secrets."
