What do you like about working at General Motors?

"I enjoyed talking to the engineers that I supported about the new technology that they were working on. I also enjoyed attending the GM meetings that enabled me to hear about the current projects."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The GM site is an interesting place to work, but for a career, you might be better off elsewhere. I have no interviewing tips because each manager and each position may be different."

What don't you like about working at General Motors?

"The EDS (or HP) system support team is an isolated environment, and each system support team often works fairly independently. This can be a problem in times of emergencies."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The EDS (now HP) management has the need to gear their efforts toward training and development of their people. They need to revamp their concept of pay for performance."
