"The like to think they're more agile, modern, and progressive than they really are. if you know you're going to work for the DMV but flatter them with the image of a cool start-up, you're in."
What don't you like about working at GMAC?
"Far too much management overhead and process. Ally can't get out of its own way when trying to deliver projects or initiatives. Politics and process often derail results."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Flatten the org chart, remove 2-3 layers of middle management, and start firing people who don't actually contribute to delivering results."
