Working at Global Restaurant Equipment and Supplies Company in Miami, FL: 1 Employee Reviews

IT Engineer

"Lots of opportunity to be diverse, little chance of growth."

What do you like about working at Global Restaurant Equipment and Supplies Company?

"Lots of opportunity to utilize and show off my various technical knowledge."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure you realize you will be handling the role of all of the following: Software Engineer, Network Administrator, Technical Support, and eCommerce manager. Make sure you have an understanding beforehand the review and raises or you will be agreeing to the same pay for the next few years."

What don't you like about working at Global Restaurant Equipment and Supplies Company?

"No other technically inclined person at the company, which leaves the impressive work you do unknown for all intents and purposes. No one there to realize how good your abilities are. Also very, very little in the way of upward growth potential. No appreciation for the extra time spent working from home and on weekends."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Appreciate your employees, especially your highly skilled employees and have annual review and raises without requests from employees. If the employee has been working for a year, you need to either raise them or fire them, there has been ample time to determine which to do. And a Christmas bonus should be at least 1 weeks pay, the norm is 2 weeks, giving some one the equivalent of 1 day of there pay as a bonus is an insult."
