"There will be changes coming due to the Eaton acquisition of Cooper Industries!"
What don't you like about working at Cooper Power Systems?
"The driving distance is the only thing which prompted me to move to Pentair which is closer"

"Keep up the good work; it would be a great part to Eaton with the acquisition."

"I like the opportunity to work with a lot of bright and capable engineers (many of them from AMGEN)."

What do you like about working at Hewlett-Packard?
"I had many years with the company so a decent salary and 5 weeks vacation. I had great co-workers/peers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Go there for the money and short term. Always be looking for the next company/job. They are always looking for your next or cheaper replacement."
What don't you like about working at Hewlett-Packard?
"The new management structure in IT and in Global Finance and Shared Services stunk! If you didn't live in CA and TX second choice you were only a number and there are several of my peers still working there in CA and TX that feel the same way! I even caught them changing my performance evaluation from my manager that was laid off, which I called them on and it was corrected. I heard it happened to others as well from those that were affected."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I do not believe they follow up on their employee values below what is spouted at the CEO level, and there is nothing to hold any management level below accountable on that, so it speaks of their abilities as true managers of people rather than managers trying to get as many bucks and perks for themselves. Stay away!!!"

"I like the accomplishments I made for my organization and I loved working with my co-workers and direct management team. I learned a lot."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you get an interview, be confident, identify the qualities you think/know they are looking for that you have and why you will make a difference. Explain your value add to the company."
What don't you like about working at Agilent Technologies?
"At a high corporate level, I was just a number among hundreds of thousands of workers after we acquired EDS, and it was not a good career builder working in the Northeast. People in CA and TX had more growth potential."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"No. They are into the cut and slash mode and nothing long term works out with that, but they make a great little computer!"
