"The culture and values of this company are great, but it doesn't trickle down far enough to the field employees. Although there is a lot of promise to move up by hiring managers, it all depends on what your field managers expose you to. Many people find themselves stuck and can't grow in the field as they are not given the chance to learn a new aspect of the job. Seeing lots of experience and knowledgeable engineers and managers leave the company and inexperienced workers getting promoted is not encouraging. Also, sometimes managers give more respect and are more lenient to those employees that go out and socialize with them after hours, which adds on to the pressure. However, the company has a great safety culture but unfortunately only some of the employees believe and enforce it. If more than 50% of the field employees believed the same values and ethics that corporate management did, working in the field would be more appealing."
