"The company business model is based on one man's outdated marketing strategy, made up of just many words with no substance to back. GHA Technologies is a pathetic, disorganized Mom and Pop's trying to pretend like they are an enterprise competitor. Probably less than 1% of new sales hires make it through the first year. I wish I would have listened to one of the vendor presenters in sales training who forewarned us about the extremely high employee turn-over rate at GHA. I hope to never be so gullible again."
"Owner's ego trip creates a toxic work environment"
What do you like about working at GHA Technologies?
"Most sales reps are able to work from their home offices; provides a flexible work day and cubicle-free environment. If you're an excellent sales rep with your own book of business that you bring with you, and if you manage to avoid annoying the owner, you may be able to make a better-than average commission income after your first 18 months."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be very careful. A few sales reps do well (for the most part, the ones who have 4-5 years' seniority) but management's attitude about reps is strictly churn and burn: Not unusual for new reps to bring their book of exiting accounts to this co. only to be fired a few months later, after they have given the co. all their contacts' info."
What don't you like about working at GHA Technologies?
"Employee training is a week-long monologue by the owner; not open to new ideas or challenges to his opinions. After that, very little support and lots of pressure / negative feedback. Support staff at company HQ looks and acts scared to death - very creepy! Worst thing about the co. is that rules and policies change on a weekly basis, and the blizzard of email traffic (all reps are cc'd on every email) and Policy Bulletins is stupefyingly counter-productive. About as unprofessional an organization as you can imagine."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The only manager in a position to make any changes is the owner/President, and he doesn't listen to suggestions. He does listen to flattery, however, and sucking up to him is a necessity if you want to remain with the co."
"Not recommended"
