"I've worked at GetUWired for over three years. Before, I worked a variety of jobs in different industries, but here I've found my home. Pay is good for the area, and the location is awesome. The culture is awesome bananas."

"GetUWired is truly invested in its employees and its culture. We’ve won awards for our great culture, including being one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures in 2015 and a Best Place to Work in Georgia in 2016. Some things we do to make GetUWired great include: - Quarterly team-building events such as whitewater rafting, wilderness training, charity work, and lake parties. - Free quarterly T-shirts designed by the staff. - Lots of in-house events like Thanksgiving potlucks, Halloween costume contests, and birthday cakes. - Office Toys - We have Nerf gun wars regularly, as well as a hammock, Frisbee, bean bag toss and games. - Kids and dogs are welcome in the office. GREAT for parents trying to achieve a work/life balance, plus, pets are a major stress reducer! - We can work from home anytime we need to - great for work/life balance. - The CEO has taken it upon herself to practice “Random Acts of Appreciation,” including ice cream deliveries, late-night appreciation texts, and sending a card to one employee’s father telling him what a great child he raised. - Open-door policy - Any member of our staff can talk with our leadership team any time they want. There is no “invisible barrier” between management and staff. - Employees have a voice. The entire team worked together to create our company mission and core values. Plus, we use quarterly employee surveys to improve our workplace. - One of our core values is “We ____ Together.” Whatever we do, we do it as a team. There is no “dog-eat-dog” mentality, and that’s no accident. Leadership hires people who will and add to our culture. People with poor attitudes or a bad work ethic are quickly booted. - We make a special effort to hire women, minorities, and veterans. - Bringing high-tech to North Georgia - Having a multi-million dollar tech company in our rural area means great careers in a great place. For most people, living in the country means sacrificing a well-paying career. Not us."
