"Old tools and equipment, old managers stuck in their ways, long hours, limitless fire-fighting, no real commitment to actually resolving long-term issues. Previous companies have been bought and sold this company, off-shored production lines, and drained profits for years. There's not much left worth fighting for."

"I have worked at Bently Nevada since 2008. With the office located in Minden, NV you are only a 30 minute drive from Lake Tahoe and 4-5 hours away from San Francisco and the bay area. This location is great for those looking for an outdoor and active living style. Tons of great hiking and mountain/trailing biking available, great skiing in the winter, and the lake. The job is challenging but at times it can feel like it is hard to advance up the ranks."

"GE is a great place to start a career, but is difficult to move up. Pay is great, but it is easy to get lost in the crowd. Company seems so big that it gets in its on way."

"It was a pleasure to work for them. My contact person was very supportive and helpful. She even took us out to lunch a few times. If I ever had any questions the answer was only a phone call away. The compensation was fair, but unfortunately no benefits or paid time off was offered. I would recommend GRT as a contractor to anyone who is looking for a job."

"I have been an engineer for over 30 years and have worked a good bit as a contractor. I didn't know the Dilbert jokes about how contractors were true until I worked here. Treated like 2nd class citizens and treated with suspicion. The office space upstairs in AP1 was the nastiest place I ever worked. The dust on the cabinets was so deep it had texture, like a moon scape.Enjoyed my work and my coworkers. First supervisor was great, 2nd was a 'cover my ass' snitch, would betray my confidence."

"At GE you get to work with some of the best people out there. The workplace is competitive but fosters teamwork. You have a lot of control over your own career and the ability to try new things. GE supports continued education and encourages involvement in the community."

"I have worked for this company for 7 months and if I didn't need the sponsorship for H-1 it was a good place to continue my career."
