"Geek Squad is an amazing company to work for. You will learn many things about customer service that one simple over the phone position cannot do. You will also learn about proper documentation of items taken care of in a professional environment. There is room to move up, but you have to be more motivated, and might need a few certificates to be looked at. The pay is okay, compared to local competition. Agents need to be paid more per hour, because more agents leave the job per year."

"What I liked most about working at the company was the face paced environment which always provided a beneficial level of stress."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The best possible tip I can provide is that when going in to the interview look into what the job description entails. Going in and asking an employee gives you the best understanding of what you should study before the interview."

What don't you like about working at Geek Squad?

"I would have preferred that the company provided and encouraged growth within the company. I do not feel as though there were the tools needed to understand and move further in the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My one suggestion for management is to provide a clear directive for those who want to further themselves so that they know what is needed to be done to advance their career."
