"I was part of management here, so I know it can be stressful at times, so my advice is just to take on one task at a time."

"I've managed for 3 different furniture companies and this one doesn't micromanage from a corporate level to a point where you always feel like your in or out based on performance or sales volume. As long as you are making a solid effort to promote/network, train, and hold sales staff accountable, you have a solid career."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be the professional who is confident in your skill sets. We have an owner that values people whose actions speak louder than their lip-service."

What don't you like about working at Conlin's Furniture?

"Although we're a smaller company that was severely lacking in vision/growth we have had a new owner take over 2 years ago and things have gotten better but still would like to see us think bigger."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"be humble. Help as many of your staff get what they want and you will in turn get what you want."
