"Overall, not a bad gig. They pretty much leave me alone, and let me do my job. They pay OK, not great but fair. They don't do annual raises or promotions. They don't do performance reviews: so if you do something great, they'll never know unless you tell them about it. In that case, you might get a monetary reward. They are always on time with payroll, even at the holidays. I have tried to bring issues to my supervisor but they remain unresolved. I believe she cares, but she is often moving too fast to listen or absorb the details. She'll make an assumption and move on before you know what hit you. She is HIGH energy, and a fast talker. Do not try to have a conversation with her, because you WILL get run over. It does not matter if the topic is about work, and nothing personal, she will dominate the conversation. She's the boss=SHE does the talking. To communicate, use e-mail, and be very detailed. She responds to e-mail quickly. I tend to be gracious, and accommodating in my professional settings. But I think she simply has no respect for me. Perhaps this is just her style and she treats every employee this way. Perhaps it's her youth and inexperience? I have no way of knowing. So I'll put this here, and maybe other employees will chime in."
