Submit a Review"I love that USAA molded my job specifically for me. I was hired as a Designer/Producer for the Federal Savings Bank but I had many skills as an illustrator and animator that were quickly put to good use. Know I am known as the enterprise illustrator and logo designer/branding expert. I still design UI all the time and interfaces for web/mobile applications. I am also called upon to use my creativity to illustrate tons of internal processes in print, web and mobile applications."

"I loved being able to make things look slick with the added challenge of making it compatible for older browsers. Learning the differences between how browsers handle CSS. It's all very interesting and the pay wasn't bad."

I hate the grunt work and the clients that any industry has to deal with to pay the bills. 80-90% of the work is average or below and 10-20% of the work is great and makes the entire experience worth it, or you change industries."

"Not really, I don't think it will be around in a few months anyway, sadly."
What don't you like about working at FanBridge?
"The CEO and upper management have changed our focus too many times and it became clear that uncertainty of our direction was hurting the business"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Dont try to keep to many plates in the air. Instead of making our core product the best it could be we were directed to move on to new ideas before we had time to really finish/polish the one we just finished leaving a few half-baked products."

"no one to discuss about new ideas regarding my work"

"none, they are doing an excellent job in their field, and good at listening to the expert in IT field"

"Promising startup - typical hip urban startup perks - catered lunches, stylish work environment. Great product."

"Know your stuff. Expect to be in the interview for a long time."
What don't you like about working at Inkling?
"Typical hip urban startup. Lot's of twenty somethings with lots of energy - which mean lots of work is done late at night and at a pace that means short deadlines and long hours. Not a place for people with a family."

"I really don't have any comment for management - I am sure there style of management will continue to work for them and they have no reason to change."

"I enjoy the work that I do and the people are great. The work that I do is gratifying and I am able to continue to grow professionally. Overall it's a great job."

"Learn how to write clean valid semantic code. Stay current with HTML 5, CSS 3, Mobile and Responsive Design techniques."

"I work with a tight knit team and management does a fantastic job of listening to our recommendations and utilizing our individual skills."

"There was an extreme lack in resources in most cases I had to use my own equipment."

"Management should upgrade the technology in the office space for better workability."

"As a CEO not much but as a director I would like to see a change in work flow to allow better quality assurance."

"expectations are not realistics sometimes and we are given challenges that exceeds are skill level at times. There is not much time for mentorship either"

"Very long walk from the metro station and very little direction."

"They have very good management, but they aren't there all the time."

"This is a company where you can take your time in learning stuff and gaining experience."

"Anyone who interview with company has to make sure he knows the basic stuff really well. Your foundation should be very strong."

"Things move at very slow rate. There is no pressure on you, no talks of new innovations and upcoming technologies."

"If we have to compete with the outside world, there is a need to make use of new technologies."
