"I was never payed for most of the time I was there."

What do you like about working at Courtyard ?
"I like working with people. You build relationships with some of the weekly guest. I love working with the people I work for. A different type of people living in a different place. It is unique to listen to others life stories."

"Be upfront and honest with people. You must like this job or it will be miserable."
What don't you like about working at Courtyard ?
"The hours are sometimes bad because I am away from my family all the time. Family is very important to me. I wish I could get paid more. With this econmy the money I make at work is gas, phone bill and car insuranse. I really have no fun money. I commute 40 miles to work everyday which is costly also."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Being honest with your employees is very important. Make your employees feel like they are wanted there a little more and not just there to do the dirty work."

"I made wonderful friends, got to meet people from all over the world, and got to see the beach every day from my front desk."

"It's very hard to watch everyone having fun at the beach and the pool while I'm inside!"
