"The owner is foreign so has no idea what a feasible wage is and I found it hard to move up."

"They need sound employees who enjoy this line of work and are dependable employees."

"You might have to drink lots of coffee to stay awake all night one or two days a week."
What don't you like about working at Disneyland Hotel?
"The hours were not consistent. Some weeks were 40+, some weeks 8. Can't live off that."

"The management staff did the best they could with the hours they were budgeted."

What do you like about working at Pahrump Nugget?
"My position (Front Desk Clerk), the management, my co-workers, health benefits. I enjoy working with the public having over 30 years experience in the Hotel & Casino Industry. The way that management treated their employees very good and fair, it made me feel that we were part of a family not just employees. In the HR department if you need help or something done, it was always taken care of in a timely manner."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Get to know as much about the Pahrump Nugget as you can, so you will be able to answer any questions that our guests may ask. Be yourself and do the best job that you can. Be flexible and be honest."
What don't you like about working at Pahrump Nugget?
"Being short handed, co-workers not showing up for their shifts, some co-workers not caring if the work had gotten done and not caring if the guests had a good stay at the hotel, and not caring if the guests returned."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I thought that the Pahrump Nugget had some of the best management that I have worked for. If you had a problem with office machines or anything you could go to them and they would take care of the problem."

"as long as everybody works together and there is enough communication it is a low stress job and things go very smooth"

"appearance is important, dont be lazy because you will have a bad reputation with the other employees"

"not enough of a challenge, seems like a job that anybody could easily do. I wish there were opportunities for a promotion but once you know how to do everything youre at a standstill"

"less investor involvement, a little more organization and more staff would be great"

"Always demanding. You are always talking to someone, never a moment where you can take a break."

"Interact with employees more often, hold meetings with employees to see what could improve with the company."
