Accounts Payable Coordinator
in Bellevue, WA

"Good Company; Good Environment, Somewhat shy for Growth Oppty and not always there, but when avail, low comp plans."

What do you like about working at Fox Broadcasting Company?

"Completely surrounded by sports enthusiasts! The perks were great! Example: met a lot of the Pro players from local clubs like Sonics (when they were here), Seahawks, Storm, Mariners - Loved! free tickets to games! Thru FSN I actually grew to love all my WA teams even when I left the state! Still root for my Hawks (kept my 12th man status 1200 miles away)! Fantastic peers!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just be yourself. Showcase your personality - shine and expand on the areas of interest within FSN. I don't believe its a necessity to have a huge admiration for sports, but more on how you can participate as a team player carrying the ball, scoring points, and carrying the division across fantastic nielsen ratings that keep you in the real game of FSN!"

What don't you like about working at Fox Broadcasting Company?

"I actually enjoyed the environment! And, yes! I loved my direct report! I just wished FSN had a budget to compensate staff with where the fair market value stood. I was craving a greater quality of life so pursued to return back to sales in order to achieve and meet up with where life allowed for both personal and professional growth beyond Broadcast."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Mark Shuken is a brilliant man. There is not a single thing I could say about his management style as he's consistently kept the network in stellar shape; It was really the umbrella of Fox that took its toll on the regional stations, which FSN was at the time. Big Gorilla sometimes missed the opportunity to see value in all departments. Our Traffic Dept needed help desperately as did production, and always felt empathy for the long enduring hours my peers would suffer in order to see success for the rest of the division! So I would simply have them reassess the allocation of budgets, take a closer look, and really evaluate where true headcount is needed."
