4.4 I’ve worked for Forward Air for almost 3 years! It’s a Great company with opportunities and stocks available. I’ve been able to learn a lot! Starting on the forklift to learning the ins and outs of dispatch and inventory! They offer great training and the people I work with are amazing! Forward Air is a huge company and still growing. I’ve seen Forward Air promote from within! Giving the opportunity for a few forklift operators to become supervisor and they’re doing a great job at it... Feels good to work for Forward Air Inc. The job security is second to none! The operations manager is running our location (The biggest HUB) very smoothly! Since he’s come in he has made a lot of changes for the good! And the operations are running better than ever. I truly am proud to be a Forward Air employee.

2.2 Forward air just purchased Towne air freight, I hope they're not as cheap as TAF and take everything they can from drivers like Towne does. I hope they pay better attention to the unethical practices of towne terminal managers. Maybe FAF will pay better attention to what's going on in these terminals by the people they trust to run them. It's borderline illegal what they have been doing at my terminal.

Forward Air is a industry provider of air freight and transportation services in North America. During the 1980s, Forward Air was a branch of Landair Transportation. In 1988, Landair and North American Van Lines formed a contract to provide air cargo services. The merger set the foundation that would eventually help Forward Air expand. Both companies earned over 30 million dollars in revenue by 1990. In 1993, the business was divided into two units and Forward Air was the larger subsidiary. Its earning potential reached $148 million in 1995 and grew to $190 million by 1997.

Forward Air is currently based in Greenville, TN and operates 81 terminals in the United States and Canada. Today, Forward Air has the largest fleet for expediting air flight shipments on ground and continues to provide reliable alternatives to air transportation between 85 cities in the United States.
