"Unless you are a conformist mediocre white male don't plan on being promoted past director level. If you like mindless predefined work and administrators that make all the decisions, this place is for you."

What don't you like about working at Food Services of America?

"Those in charge have little to no compassion for there employees or customers, only using them for their own gain and power. Ironically this is wrapped in a new vision claiming to do the opposite."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The preference for senior and mid level yes men will eventually take you out of the game. Hire smart people and let them tell you what needs to be done. Also, look to other industries for leaders."

"The people I worked with on a daily basis. At work it felt like family. The owner would help when needed, managment would also put on an apron. The exec Chef was always willing to listen. I was given many oportunities to improve menu items or introduce new foods."

"Just be humble, you will have opportunity to show what you can do."

"Some managment people abused their position and would make kitchen life miserable"

"Take time to talk to the staff that does the physical labor in the kitchen. Once you get to know the crew you may have a different opinion."
