What do you like about working at Safeway?
"I enjoy meeting new people every day. Making new friends with the customers who come through my line. Solving problems to help make the customer leave with a big smile on their face, leaves me with a great feeling inside."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would suggest be on time and early, dress nice with a dress shirt and tie."
What don't you like about working at Safeway?
"Probably they're not willing to listen to new ways to help run the company better."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen more to the customer and employee about what can be improved and have more of an open mind to think outside the box."

"Cool people make the day better but the job just sucks."

"I hope you aren't in it for the long run."

"The fact that I have to do everything on 9.50 an hour."

"Dress like you are prepared to go to work, they love that. Wear black slacks, white dress shirt, plain tie, shiny dress shoes."

"It was too bureaucratic when it came to promotions."

"Loosen up the chains a little."
