"The lack of vision over the movement of work and workers. Sometimes things were a mess, some projects got lost or left behind and never completed, and priorities were sometimes difficult to organize."

"Keep management where they're at for a little while. Keep on top of hiring. Make sure projects get completed, in full."

"It is a great company, but I want to work directly in a different energy sector"

"My interest in the energy industry is great. I want to understand and learn as much as I can in order to apply my ideas because I am an innovative thinker who always wants to create better methods and strategies to provide a solution or improve current standards. I am competitive and set goals for myself in order to be successful at everthing I do."

"I liked the way they conducted there meeting with the planning group it is good to have a good working relationship with a different department."

"Keep trying to get on this is a great company."

"I wasn't there long enough to form this type of opinion. My team leader was the greatest and so was the senior buyers all I would have loved working with."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think if you bring someone in to work and then you have an opening you should offer the job to that person, he is there and knows what is going on and does not have to be retrained as opposed to bring in some one from another country or division."

"Overall FMC is a huge organization that I am sure has changed since I was there over 25 years ago. No opinion or tips."

"At the time the plants where not doing well, and portioins where closing down. It was not a positive place to work."

"Worked for a sub-division. The company supported DoD programs. I oversaw the technology components of the various programs. The company gave me the lattitude to see opportunities and supported me as I grew into the position."

"Think conservatively."

"When FMC spun United Defense off, the culture and the dynamics changed to an ultra conservative company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"FMC/United Defense was procured by BAE. BAE has been trying to centralize many of their technology initatives. It is difficult sell to the government and creates a barrier to nimbleness and growth."

"It was agreat company to work for. It used to be number one or two in in the world in leading Lithium technologies."

"Be prepared to lead change and work hard to move this company to the next level. There are still lots of great opportunities and challenges ahead."

"The correct name for the company is FMC - Lithium Division. The culture of the place was stucked in the past in times where it was an idependent company before Gulf resorces and FMC bought the place."

"Continue moving the company forward. Pursue to regain the #1 or #2 position in the world market. Define which its new core business it is going to be and execute effectively."
